Central Digital Database

The Land Art Flevoland Foundation is developing a central digital database, in which information, documentation and archive material about the land art works will be gathered and which will function as an online platform for the public to consult. We are currently making an inventory of the whereabouts of various archive and documentation material and we have started constructing the database. We are also working on an accessible and user-friendly online portal that provides access to the available information. This process is done in close collaboration with Collectie Almere.

Current status

At the moment, most of the available information about the monumental land art works is spread across various public archives in Flevoland. Our aim is to provide insight into where this material can be found, and to offer a direct link to the relevant archives through the online platform that we are developing. In addition, we will also include Land Art Flevoland Foundation’s small scale collection and documentation collection in the database to make it (online) accessible for the public. The gathered data will be registered in the online collection management system Axiell Collections, which will soon be accessible through our website.
